On June 16, 2011, Judith Ann Buras, 66, of Gloucester, was called to eternal rest surrounded by her loving family.
Judy served honorably in the United States Navy in the 1960s and was very proud to have served.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul E. Buras; daughter, Lori and her husband John George, and grandchildren Julianna and Jacqueline George of Tucson, Ariz., and daughter, Beth and her husband Wayne Loyd of Saluda, Va.; sister, Linda Bedwell of Lumberton, Miss., and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her pet companions, Lilly and Dandy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Dick, and brothers, Harley and Billy Dick.
The family wishes to thank special friends, Ronnie and Beckie High and Lois Jablonski, for their ongoing love and support. Also our gratitude goes to the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, the ER staff at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and the CCU staff at Riverside Regional Medical Center.
There was a prayer service at Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, at 6:30 p.m. Monday with the family receiving friends until 8 p.m. Burial took place in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
