Joyce Thomas Croxton, 67, of Topping, died March 24, 2014 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.
Joyce had served as president of the Rappahannock Civic Club and was an avid Bingo player. She loved to laugh and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She brought much warmth, kindness, hope and support to those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Croxton; parents, Walter and Frances Daniel, and a brother, Vaden Daniel.
Joyce is survived by her son, John Wayne Thomas; two daughters, Angela Berry and husband Glen and Penny Baldoni; step-children, Philip White, Candi Millen, Johnny Croxton and Anthony Croxton; 10 grandchildren, Madison White, Anthony Berry, Nikki Berry, Jessica Ash, Ashley Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Dakota Walker, Shane Walker, Abby Millen and Carter Croxton; sister, Mary Ray and brother, Alvin Daniel.
A Celebration of Life conducted by the Rev. W. Donald Ambrose will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at The Beacon Restaurant, Topping. A reception and time of fellowship will follow the service at The Beacon.
