A memorial service for Joyce Smith Dezern, 59, of Gloucester Point, was held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. She died Wednesday, July 24, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alma Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Roy; stepchildren, Roy Jr., Debbie and Carrie Ann; two sisters, Nancy and Evelyn, and three step grandchildren.

The service was conducted by Ronald L. Dezern.
