Joyce Mae West Belvin, age 85, of Wicomico, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Joyce achieved many awards as an Avon Representative. She was preceded in death by her parents, James E. West and Doris Crosswell West; her sisters, Mary Ruth Williams and Mildred Ann Hall. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Charles Bernard Belvin; her daughter, Carlette Belvin Hunt (Bill W. Hunt); son, Bernard R. Belvin; brother-in-law, James R. Belvin (Della O. Belvin), and sister-in-law, Barbara B. Dunston (Mitchell Dunston), and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service, conducted by Pastor Bill West, was held at Gloucester Point Cemetery on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 3 p.m. In memory of Joyce, contributions may be made to Abingdon Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 9, Bena, Va. 23018.
