Joseph Lionel Jordan Jr., age 86, a longtime resident of North Chesterfield, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Joseph was born on July 20, 1937 to the late Joseph L. Jordan Sr. and Marie Foster Jordan. He was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1955 and the University of Virginia. He served in the Federal Bureau of Investigation for many years and upon retirement formed his investigative service. In addition to his parents, Joseph was also preceded in death by his brother, Ray Jordan, and sister, Judy Jordan. Joseph is survived by his wife, Audrey Broaddus Jordan; daughter, Laura Jordan-Habib; son, Billy Jordan, and three grandchildren, Joey Jordan (Bethany), Tyler Jordan (Maddie), and Kirsten Jordan. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service, conducted by the Rev. Richard Croxton, to begin at noon in Windsor Gardens Cemetery.
