A funeral service for John Thomas “JT” Jackson of Hampton, was held on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014 in First Baptist Church, Ordinary, Va. He died on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Jackson; daughters, Yvonne D. Jackson, Alfreda Walker (Larry) of Hampton, and Shryl Diggs (Roger) of Chesapeake; sisters, Mary Coles of Phoenix, Ariz., Ruth Foster of Los Angeles, Cal., and Shirley Washington of Gloucester, Va.; brother, Willie Jackson (Barbara) of Gloucester, Va.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial was in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Howard Funeral Home.
