John Sadler, president of Chesapeake Wealth Management, will be stepping down from his role by the end of 2023 and returning to practicing law, CWM announced this week. He will also be moving to a new primary residence in Lexington.
Sadler has been the face of Chesapeake Wealth Management for nearly a dozen years and has elevated its prominence through his commitment to multiple community and professional organizations, a release stated.
Beth Swartz, current Investment Services Manager and Senior Vice President, will serve as interim president. Swartz has been with CWM for eight years and she has been employed in investment services for 37 years.
CWM is searching for a successor to Sadler and looks forward to seamless transition and announcing the new president in the first quarter of 2024, according to the news release.
