John R. Moss (Pop Pop), age 69, of Mathews, a retired electronics engineer, died Monday, June 30, 2014.

John was a Cornhusker, a farmer, and a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie Moss; twin daughters, Mia Harrod of Newport News and Leola Moss of San Francisco, Cal.; three step-children, Jennifer White of Hartfield, Scott White of Grand Blanc, Mich., and Christopher White of Richmond, and six grandchildren.

The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date.
