A funeral for John Michael West, 35, of Hayes, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Providence Baptist Church, Hayes. He died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014.

 

He was a graduate of Gloucester High School and Rappahannock Community College. 

 

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Hogge; father, Michael West; brother, Justin West, and maternal grandfather, Ellis Ray Hogge.

 

The service was conducted by the Rev. Dr. Richard Croxton and   interment followed in the church cemetery.

 

Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, was in charge.
