Joanne Snyder passed from this life on Sept. 11, 2013.

Born in Waterloo, N.Y., she resided in Baltimore and Richmond before retiring to Onemo.

She is survived by her mother, Shirley Snyder; her son, Roy Ashbaugh of Ashland; her daughter, Michelle Ashbaugh of Charlottesville, and her grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, and Olivia Ashbaugh of Susan, and Max, Chana, and Ahava Shull of Richmond.

A memorial service will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m., and the family will receive condolences at a luncheon immediately following. The church will open at 9 o’clock to receive floral tributes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hands Across Mathews or the Macedonia Children’s Ministry.
