Joanne C. Brown of Thompson, Ga., born Sept. 19, 1934, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in Knoxville, Tenn., where she currently resided.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Brown formerly of Gloucester; son, Bobby Brown and wife Lori of Clinton; daughter, Angie Brown of Memphis, Tenn.; two grandsons, Chris and Nick; brother, Walter Cliatt of Augusta, Ga.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Mildred and Dozier Cliatt of Augusta.

A funeral was held Saturday, April 2, at 2 p.m. at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Burial will be in Augusta at a later date.
