You may have seen him whiz by you on his skateboard, or maybe you spotted him on I-64 from a half mile away in his lime green and blue car. If you followed his infectious laugh to its source you would find a smile to match. Jesse Andrew Walton, 27, Newport News, Va., passed away suddenly on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012.
He graduated from Gloucester High School in 2002, and received his Bachelor of Psychology from Christopher Newport University. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was employed at Cybernetics in Yorktown, Va., as a production technician.
He is survived by his parents, James Edward "Gator" Walton and Dorothy Bopp Walton of Gloucester; his sisters, Sara LeAnn Pechumer of Gretna, Va., and Stephayne Walton of South Carolina; brother, James Edward Walton of Norfolk, and his grandmother, Ivy Bopp of Williamstown, Pa.
The family will receive friends at Andrews Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, from 1-2 p.m. with funeral services starting at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.
