Jerry “Stretch” Glen Albertson, age 60, of Hayes, died on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Stretch was born on February 24, 1963, to Franklin and Loretta “Micki” Albertson. He worked for many years at Doyon Government Group and for Whitley’s Roofing in Richmond as a field supervisor. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and taking cruises. He was also a big fan of the Denver Broncos. However, what he loved doing most of all was being a husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father; his infant twin brother, Terry, and his sister, Patty Stinnett. Stretch is survived by Cindy, his wife of 30 years; his children, Shane Cox (Christine), Amy Santiago (Erik), Stephen Albertson, and Tiffany Albertson; grandchildren, Mylah, Annabella, Makayla, Amia, Liam, and Alyssa. His mother, Loretta “Micki” Albertson; siblings, Penny Long (Ralph), Randy Albertson (Lee Ann), and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive him.

A Celebration of Life service, conducted by Pastor Bill West, was held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 3 p.m. at Severn Church with a reception to follow. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory.
