Jerry Douglass Hall, 81, of Asheboro, North Carolina, died on Nov. 1, 2023. He was born on Oct. 19, 1942, in Newport News, Va., to the late L.D. Hall and Jerriene Hall.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Rita; sister, Sandra, and a grandson.

He retired from Newport News Shipbuilding.

Survivors include his children, Christopher Douglas Hall, and Jerry Leonard “Lenny” Hall; a sister, Deene Allen; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty, N.C. Viewing will start at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty, N.C., followed by a Celebration of Life service.
