Jeremy Ryan Hollandsworth of 1084 Lee Syd Moore Road, Scottsburg, Va., died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, in Appomattox, Va.

He was born in Williamsburg, Va., June 30, 1984 and was 27 years old. He was the son of Jerry Dean Hollandsworth and Sylvia Sherrill Boland Hollandsworth.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry Dean and Sylvia Sherrill Boland Hollandsworth of Scottsburg; one daughter, Nya Hollandsworth of Lynchburg, Va.; one son, Jayden Tyler Hollandsworth of Lynchburg; one sister, Kacie Dianne Hollandsworth of Lynchburg; two brothers, Joshua Dean Hollandsworth and wife Muriel of Gloucester, Va., and Michael Justin Hollandsworth and wife Laura of Gloucester; grandparents, Annette Hollandsworth of Gloucester, and Geraldine Boland of Scottsburg, and best friend, Derick Hudson of Scottsburg.

Funeral services for Jeremy Ryan Hollandsworth will be held at Scottsburg Baptist Church, Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Hollandsworth officiating.

The family will receive friends at Scottsburg Baptist Church, Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 6-7:30 p.m.
