Jehovah’s Witnesses to observeLord’s Evening Meal on March 24

On Sunday, March 24, millions of Jehovah’s Witnesses from around the world will gather to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ.
Congregants from Gloucester and surrounding communities will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 111 Browns Lane, Yorktown. A release said no collections will be taken.
The annual observance of the Lord’s Evening Meal will feature a talk highlighting the significance of Jesus’s death. The one-hour event will begin and conclude with prayer.
Before the Memorial, a special talk titled “The Resurrection—Victory Over Death!” will be delivered on the weekend of March 16 and 17.
The 30-minute public talk will focus on “the scriptural hope of a resurrection and what it means for the loved ones we have lost,” a release stated. Admission is free and open to the public.
