A Celebration of Life service for Jean Davis of Hallieford, was held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 7, in Cornerstone Fellowship Church, Cobbs Creek. She died July 1, 2014.

She was a retired Mathews County School bus driver, and had been a cook and pie maker at Cobbs Creek Market.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tilden Davis, and daughter, Sylvia Moses.

Survivors include her daughter, Joanie Anderson, and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
