James William McLeod, M.D., who started the first Orthopaedic Surgery practice at Walter Reed Memorial Hospital in January 1980, passed away on March 17, 2023. Dr. McLeod was residing in Panama City, Florida, at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his sons, Matthew, wife Stacy and their two sons Kyle and Grayson; his youngest son, Geoffrey McLeod, D.O., his wife Ashley, their children Caityn, Emma and Andrew, and his former wife, Elaine.
