James L. Rice Jr., 35, of Gloucester, died on May 30, 2023.

He was a native of Gloucester County and a member of Saint Paul Baptist Church and previously sang in the Youth Choir.

Survivors include his mother, Althea Rice, and sister, Tiffany Lenora Walker.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Saint Paul Baptist Church, Glouceser. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Rice will be placed in church at 1 o’clock for viewing.

Howard Funeral Home, Ark, is in charge of arrangements.
