James (Jimmy) Edward Rowe, age 82, of Hayes, passed away at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital on Saturday, December 21, 2024. He was a skilled auto mechanic for over 50 years who enjoyed helping anyone who came to him for assistance. Jimmy was born on November 13, 1942, to the late James Nathan and Norma Daniels Rowe in Newport News. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughter, Tina White (Brian); son, Edward Rowe; grandsons, Conner (Emily) and Bradley; great-granddaughters, Ryleigh and Charlotte, and sisters, Jean Drummond and Judy Biro. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Marianne Dait, Dr. Eric Chou, and the Hospice and Comfort Care teams at Walter Reed Hospital for their compassionate care during his illness.
