A funeral for James “Jimmie” B. Callis, 92, of Mathews, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11 in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. He died Jan. 8, 2015.

He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Onemo, and Masonic Lodge, Oriental No. 20 AF & AM.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Albert Callis. He is survived by his wife, Pauline P. Callis.

The family received friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Masonic rites were given at 5:45 before the visitation. Interment was in Pear Tree Cemetery, Onemo.
