The Jae Sinnett Trio and special guest Cuban pianist Manuel Valera will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at The Playhouse, 361 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone.
Doors open at 7:30 to bistro-style seating with tables for four, six, or eight, and a cash bar.

Sinnett is a drummer, composer, music educator and bandleader who has produced 19 albums and written over 250 compositions, said a press release. His work ranges from soul jazz to “straight-ahead swingin’ to fusion,” mixing funk, blues, rock, soul and jazz. When not performing, Sinnett can be found hosting the popular jazz show “Sinnett in Session” on WHRV-FM 89.5 public radio. He also produces “The R&B Chronicles.”
