Jacquelyn Garrett Emmett, 90, of Hilton Head Island, S.C., died on Aug. 28, 2023.

She had previously lived many years in Gloucester Point and had been affiliated with Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh.

Survivors include two children, John Emmett III and Candace Blazes, and three grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 in Abingdon Episcopal Church.
