Jack T. Greer of Mathews, died on Saturday, March 19, 2011.

He was born on Sept. 12, 1931, and lived most of his life in Virginia. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. Jack loved sailing and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his life-long partner, E. Ellyson Forbes. He will be missed by his niece, Cathy Gross, and all that knew him. 

The family will receive friends in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, on Thursday, March 24, 2011, from 7-9 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church on Williams Wharf Road, Mathews.
