Irena Lilliemarie Collischan, age 78, of Yorktown, died on Friday, November 3, 2023. Irena was born on November 11, 1944 in Germany to the late Anna Budnar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wolfgang M. Collischan, and her son, Frank. She is survived by her son, Michael Collischan (Tracy), and grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley. She is also survived by her sisters, Stefka Eaton (Paul) and Helena Wildey (Rich), and her brother, Francis Zujovik (Cathy). Irena was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She was so proud of her German heritage and enjoyed gardening any time she had free time. In memory of Irena, contributions may be made to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, Va. 23061. Services were private and under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home.
