These ladies in purple represented the Virginia Branch of The King’s Daughters and Sons at the annual conference of the International Order of The King’s Daughters and Sons held in Florissant, Missouri, last week. The conference was held at the Pallottine Retreat Center. Those attending included, seated from left, Louise Klebitz, Della Garrett, Nan Pointer, Evelyn King; back row, Nancy Layng and Faye Hutchinson. When traveling through air terminals and on planes, everyone made a point to call these ladies the “Golden Girls.”
