Early in-person voting in the 2020 election has been going on for over a month now, and for those who haven’t been able to make it to the registrar’s office during normal weekday hours, the first of two Saturday voting opportunities comes up this week in Gloucester and Mathews counties.
Voters who wish to cast their ballots in advance of the Nov. 3 election can do so this Saturday, as well as next Saturday, Oct. 31, at the two offices, as well as registrar’s offices across the commonwealth.
The Mathews office, at Liberty Square on Buckley Hall Road, will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on those two Saturdays, while the Gloucester office, at Building 1 in Gloucester’s courthouse complex, will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The Mathews office also has its walk-up window, allowing residents to vote without having to enter the building.
