Mr. Twigg, of Dixie, traded horses with Mr. Estes, of North, last week. Mr. L. Booker and brother, Samuel, visited their old home in Gloucester last week.
Mr. Boyd Twigg was home Sunday.

Signpine School opened Friday, Sept. 7, with an enrollment of about thirty-eight pupils eager to get back to studying after having a pleasant vacation this summer. We are glad to have Miss Addie Wiatt back with us again this term as she has always taken real interest in the school work here. We are also glad to have Miss Eugenia Sterling with us this term as she has already shown that she is interested in both the school and church work.
