The kings and queens of Gloucester and Mathews high schools were crowned at roughly the same time on Friday night during halftime celebrations of the two schools’ homecoming games. Above, GHS seniors Trevor Richardson and Nadia Oberlin were crowned Gloucester’s Duke and Duchess. Below, Jerrell Johnson and Katherine Murphy were named Mathews High School’s king and queen.
