The Gloucester Union Relief Association of Missionary Baptist continues its annual Holy Week services at 7 p.m. through Friday at Morning Glory Baptist Church, Gloucester.
Speakers include Thursday, the Rev. Katrina Brown, associate minister of Bethel Baptist Church, Gloucester, and communion will be celebrated. Ministers are to wear robes, deacons, black and deaconesses, white. On Friday, the Rev. Vivian Holmes, associate minister of Shepherdsville Baptist Church, Gloucester, will speak.
The Mathews County Christian Ministerial Association will continue its Holy Week services at noon through Friday at Westville Christian Church, Mathews.
Speakers and special music will include: Thursday, the Rev. Tom Bunting and music by Fido Stephens, and Friday, the Rev. Jennifer Mercer and music by Mercer. Nancy Layng will be accompanist on Thursday and the Rev. Coleman Tyler on Friday.
