Holiday Jewelry Pop Up coming to Bay School

The Bay School Community Arts Center will hold a Holiday Jewelry Pop Up Show from Dec. 6-24 at the gallery on Main Street in Mathews.
The show will include a collection of wearable art, said a press release from gallery coordinator Jennifer Schroeder, with each piece of jewelry one of a kind.
Nine artists will offer their creations for the show in a variety of different materials and techniques, said the release, including silver, gemstones, leather, paper, pine needles, felting, fused glass and more. 
“Come, shop and see some very unusual jewelry,” said Schroeder.
December is a busy month with lots of exciting events, she said. Empty Bowls will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, with tickets available at the Bay School or online beginning Friday, Nov. 29.
Open Arts/Through Special Eyes will be in the gallery from Dec. 13-28, featuring artwork created in the school’s community outreach programs by students of all ages and abilities.
