Holiday fun coming to the library in December

Between your annual visit to the Christmas tree farm, unboxing ornaments and making a gift list and checking it twice, make sure to save time to visit Gloucester County Public Library for some holiday fun this season.
Santa Claus visits will be held at the Main Library on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Each child will visit different activity stations on the path to see Santa. Registration begins this Saturday.
Following the visit from Saint Nick will be the library holiday open house from 1-4 p.m. The Magic of Harmony Show Choir will perform at 1 p.m. and the Bayside Youth Ballet will perform at 1:30 and again at 2:30 in the library’s community room. Light refreshments will be provided. No registration required.
Also at the open house will be the awards ceremony for the cookie-baking contest at 3:30 p.m. The library is holding its first-ever cookie-baking contest this year in three divisions; third through fifth graders, sixth through 12th graders, and adults 18 and older...
