Gloucester and Mathews counties as well as surrounding localities will begin to have holiday fun this weekend, socially distanced of course.
On Friday, Arts on Main, in Gloucester Court House, will host “Artful Giving & Small Works” from 5-8 p.m., featuring one-of-a-kind, handcrafted gifts for sale.
In Mathews, the Made in Mathews Open Studio Tour continues for its second weekend, open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at various artists’ studios throughout Mathews as well as at the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center and the Bay School Community Arts Center on Main Street.
Gloucester Parks, Recreation & Tourism will air its virtual (shoebox) parade at 3 p.m. Saturday on its website and Facebook page. Also, on Saturday, Under the Stars Lavender Farm on Harcum Road in Gloucester will be hosting its Breakfast with Santa and Enchanted Forest event from 9 a.m. until noon. The farm will also host its Christmas Under the Stars event from 4-7 p.m....
