Though small in number with only 16 members, the Missionary Ministry of The First United Baptist Church at White Marsh is huge in enthusiasm, talent, willingness to work, dedication and all the other traits t it takes to make its Holiday Bazaar, to be held Saturday, a big success.
The members have been sewing, crocheting and creating all sorts of art work for months and will be cooking several days before the big event. According to chairman Gloria Evans, “The plans for our Holiday Bazaar began in the summer of 2016. Knowing we would need some help we had two ladies who are very talented and know how to do so many different creative art works, Yvonne Ray and Luretha Dixon, to help us. They have been working with us at every meeting. It has been such a long time since some of us had done this type of work. They have spurred us on. In the beginning we met once a month but the closer it got to bazaar time we met more often and now it’s twice a week.”
