Jimmy Mears of Hartfield scored a hole in one while playing at the Piankatank River Golf Club on Feb. 24. Playing on hole number 14, Mears drove the ball 100 yards from the tee to the cup, using a wedge. Witnessing Mears making the shot were John Donner, Chris Anderson and Chris Baluch.
