Holden Edward Ward Sr., 67, of Gloucester, died on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

He was a native of Gloucester County, and was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Gloucester.

Survivors include spouse, Carolyn Ward; children, Marander Spencer, Dorothy Ward, Kimberly Ward, Holden Ward Jr.; siblings, Courtney Wyatt, Patricia Solomon, William Ward, George Ward, and Carla Smith, and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, Holden Ward and Mary A. Smith, and siblings, Steven and Hayward Ward.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 28 at the First United Baptist Church, White Marsh. Burial will be held at Zion Hill Baptist Church.
