Hunter Hogge and Trevor Oyler shot a 63 on Sept. 1 to take first place in the first flight of the Piankatank River Golf Club’s Labor Day Tournament. Derek Pool and Jeremy Collier, with 65, were second in the flight.

Third flight, Jake Jackson and J.D. Simpson, 68, first; Stephen Brinkman and Nick Smell, 71, second;
Fourth flight, Robert “Corky” Marks and Brian Hepburn, 74, first; Curtis Hilliard and Mitch Hilliard, 77, second;
Fifth flight, Jim Moncure and Roseanne Moncure, 69, first; Gina Custis and Dan Whitaker, 77, second.
Winning closest to the pin awards were Mary Francisco, #5; David Jackson, #7; Colleen DeLuce, #14; and Matt Hautz, #17.
