Seventy-five Mathews County seniors had a fun-filled morning playing Ho Ho Bingo on Dec. 12, sponsored by Mathews County Triad. The games were called by David Watts, a volunteer who also does it for the Mathews Active Lifestyle Center. Triad gave out 52 prizes to winners, said spokesman Alice Stewart, and Jim Travenski, at 101 years, was the oldest person attending. The Piankatank Ruritan Club donated use of the club building for this community event. After the games, everyone participated in a lunch of soup provided by Triad.
