Historic Christ Episcopal Church in Mathews is the headquarters for the annual Historic Garden Week tour on Saturday, April 23, 2022. The tour is hosted by the Garden Club of Gloucester and Mathews, and endorsed by the Garden Club of Virginia. Head hostess at headquarters is Jane Smith, assisted by Margaret Singleton, Mary Helen Birdsall, Sarah Finney, and Cara Randolph.
This year’s tour chair Pam Driggs and co-chair Leslie Belvin, along with Garden Club President Julie Stone, and the entire membership welcome you to Mathews for this year’s tour of beautiful historic homes and gardens along the East River. The homes showcased are Riverlawn and The Cottage, Eastham, and Samarkand.
