The first-ever Newport News Hispanic Heritage Restaurant Week is underway now through Sunday, Sept. 29. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, this two-week event showcases the robust flavors and culinary traditions of the city’s Hispanic-owned eateries.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to explore a variety of delicious offerings at a discount, which celebrate the diverse cuisines from across Hispanic cultures.
“This is a unique opportunity to support our local businesses while experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the Hispanic community through food,” said Desiree McDaniel, Tourism Manager with Visit Newport News. “We are proud to celebrate the contributions of Hispanic chefs and restaurateurs who make our city’s culinary scene so diverse.”
