Seaford native and longtime Opry vocalist Tracy Hill will be the featured performer Saturday night at Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry. The show will be at Mathews High School’s Harry M. Ward auditorium. Doors open at 7:30 and the show begins at 8.
Hill has a voice “that can go from zero to blow-you-away in seconds,” Opry president Lynda Smith said. “Tracy has been with this show for almost 20 years now and I’ve never heard a prettier, stronger female voice. There’s nothing this lady can’t sing and she is just lovely both inside and out.”
Hill’s show will take audience members on a trip back in time, telling a story of the history of country music, with such classics as “Your Cheating Heart,” “Today I Started Loving You Again” and “Blue Moon of Kentucky.” She will also be doing several of her signature Patsy Cline standards, said a press release.
