Local children will have quite a few opportunities to see Santa Claus in person during the upcoming weeks.
It may look as if Santa will have to be in several places at once, but we have to remember what a magical figure he is, able to do anything to bring smiles to children’s faces.
Here are a few of the bookings that his elves have shared with us:
Santa Claus is planning a visit to Gloucester Court House on two consecutive days. He will be in the Gloucester Christmas Parade on Saturday afternoon, and later that day at the tree lighting on Gloucester Court Green.
The Gloucester Main Street Association Holiday Open House, 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. Look for Santa here as well.
Mathews Memorial Library is looking forward to two visits from Santa Claus: the first will be between 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, while library trees are being decorated; the second during a story time from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
