Henry was born on April 27, 1936 and left us on June 15, 2023 to be present with the Lord, our Jesus Christ and Savior. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Dorothy Langley; his son, Raymond Langley (Barbara), and his daughters, Cathy Dale (Donnie) and Karen Espinoza (Eddie). He was predeceased by his son, Henry L. Langley Jr., and daughter Sheila Joyner. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Harris; his grandchildren; great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and friends. He was also predeceased by his brothers, James Langley, Preston Langley and Jesse Langley, and his sisters, Mary Retha Langston and Mattie Burney.

He loved the Lord, his family and his church, White Marsh Baptist. He loved life and always had a smile on his face. He ended every conversation with “God Bless You.”

The family requests that all expressions of sympathy be made to the AWANA Program at White Marsh Baptist Church, which is an expression of his love for God’s children.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at White Marsh Baptist Church, Gloucester, Va., on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 3 p.m.
