Helen Shipley Talman, 99, of Sandston, died July 7, 2023 in her home.

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine; grandchildren, Emily and Michael (Brandi); great-grandchildren, Sean, Landon and Kayedance; sisters, Bunnie (William), Doris, Betty and Evelyn (Thomas), and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home on Laburnum on July 28 from 3-7 p.m., and the service will be held at St. Peter’s Church in New Kent on July 29 at 2 p.m.
