Helen Elizabeth Taylor, 91, of Gloucester, died on April 19, 2022.

She was a native of Gloucester County and a member of Smithfield Baptist Church where she served as Senior Usher and was a member of the Willing Workers Ministry.

Survivors include children, Larry Taylor, Walter Taylor Sr., Sandra Clayborne, Earnie Taylor, Donnell Taylor, Dianne Bills, Melvina Taylor and Angelina Miniger; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Stanley and Betty Webb Smith Sr.; husband, Deacon Walter E. Taylor; siblings, Frances Berry, Celestine Darden and Stanley Smith Jr.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, in The Church of Abraham, formerly Smithfield Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Howard Funeral Home, Ark, was in charge of the arrangements.
