Gloucester Board of Supervisor member Michael Hedrick has announced that he will not be seeking reelection to a second term representing the Ware District.
Hedrick was elected in November 2019 and took his oath office the following January. During his 2019 campaign, he stated that it was his intention to serve only one four-year term.
“I have thought long and hard about what is required of me to serve in this office,” said Hedrick, “it is a strong desire and commitment to serve the citizens of the Ware District and Gloucester County and I have fully committed myself to do exactly that.”
Hedrick ran on the commitment to serve the Ware District by focusing on sound management of the county budget and effective oversight of county government. He also made himself available to those he represented by responding to calls on a number of issues.
