Michael W. Hedrick, 75, has won the nomination as the Republican candidate for the Ware District seat on the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors in the Nov. 5 general election. Hedrick was chosen as the nominee last Thursday during a meeting of the Gloucester County Republican Committee.
Hedrick, a 37-year resident of the Ware District, said, “I have thought long and hard about what is required of me to serve in this office—it is a strong desire and commitment to serve the citizens of the Ware District and Gloucester County—and I have fully committed myself to do exactly that.
“When elected, I will serve the citizens of Ware District and be your independent voice on the board of supervisors, focused on sound management of the budget and effective oversight of county government,” he added.
