Achilles Shopping Center received one of four Judges’ Awards in the parade (the others going to the GHS NJROTC, GHS Marching Dukes, and Girl Scout Troop 130). “Overall, this year’s Jubilee went very well, drawing large crowds both days. The weather cooperated with cool fall temperatures—perfect for clam chowder and sweatshirts,” said festival co-chair Melissa Ashe. This year’s event put more of a focus on watermen’s heritage, including a display from Workboat Life.
