The Heart of the River Exhibition, consisting of 145 paintings created by the Gloucester Arts Festival’s Plein Air Invitational Artists, is on display through June 29 at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester in Main Street Center. Winners selected by renowned artist Robert Johnson were, above, Best in Show: “Remember These Days” by Doug Clarke and, below, Artists’ Choice: “Symphony Night” by Durre Wa-seem, along with second- and third-place winners “East Shore Beach.” by Jim Laurino and “Endless Summer” by Fred Jackson.
