Angela Healy, who has worked at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester since 1978, was recently promoted to gift planning director for the Riverside Health System Foundation. She began her new job May 1.
Instead of her long-time base in Gloucester, Healy is now based at the RHSF offices in Newport News. "I am very excited to work across our entire health system where we provide health care to communities from the Eastern Shore, to Williamsburg (where the new Riverside Doctors’ Hospital is currently under construction) and Newport News, to the Northern Neck and Richmond, and of course right here in Gloucester and surrounding communities on the Middle Peninsula," Healy said.
Healy said her new job involves "creating the opportunity for patients, families, community members and businesses to philanthropically support Riverside efforts to provide exceptional health care to the communities we serve.
